In the former castle garden Ruperč vrh near Stranska vas grows a mighty sequoia. Due to its typical coniferous habitus and myrtleness it can be seen from a far, as it is around 25 metres tall. Two sequoias were planted around the year 1885. Both trees started to weaken due to unsuitable growth conditions and were also hit by lightning in 1975. The smaller one shrivelled in 2000, but the larger one still grows today and has a chest-high perimeter of 737 cm.
