Villa VOGLER stands in the very centre of the village of Cankova. Under hundred year old chestnut trees, the yard offers wonderful shade. From there you can set off on the path named after the last representative of the Vogler family, who was better known by the locals as ‘Mausika’. A characteristic of the path is its diversity as it leads along the field roads, through the forest and across the meadows. The path is beautiful and inviting as it is removed from the hustle and bustle of the roads. All at once you are in the middle of a meadow full of flowers, listening to the birds singing and enjoying your connection with nature.
The walk along flat terrain is suitable for children and older hikers, and it is considered an easy walk. If we are lucky a deer, which looks with interest at the Nordic walkers, may surprise us at the edge of the forest. In order not to lose contact with the old farm tradition, the path leads us past the famous Bransberger homestead, a beautifully preserved farm house where there is an exhibition of old farm tools.
Warning: The path is not suitable for walking in wet weather.
