
Kozjansko Park is one of the oldest and most extensive protected regions in Slovenia. The protected region with the status of a regional park is a mosaic what were previously Alpine hills, hills covered in vineyards, plains, unspoiled nature and a rich cultural inheritance which offers many opportunities for research, enjoyment
and relaxation.
A high level of biotic diversity classifies Kozjansko Park as one of the most important protected natural regions in both Slovenia and Europe most of which is classified as an important protected site by the European Natura 2000.
Exhibition and Concerts at Castle Podsreda:
The Castle Podsreda, one of the most important cultural monuments and most preserved Roman castles in Slovenia, has a special charm that seems to bring it to life. The castle lives on among constant concerts and music seminars as well as continuous exhibitions of top-notch local and foreign works of art.
Trebče - The Kolarjeva and Javerškova farms in Trebče are both strongly connected with the life and work of Josip Broz Tito. On the Kolarjeva farm one will find a well-organized shop of regional products.

Castle Podsreda: open every day from 10am – 6pm (except Mondays)
Administration: Monday – Friday: 8am – 4pm
Entrance Fees: for Adults - 4 euros, for children 2.50 euros
Discounts are available for groups (over 10 people).
In winter season the Castle is closed, but can be opened for the groups announced in advance.
