Vojkova koča na Nanosu mountain hut, , , mountains hut alps cottage hiking alpine shelter, The hut is located in the shelter close below Pleša (1262 m), one of the peaks of Nanos, the high karst plateau that steeply rises above the Upper Vipava Valley (Zgornja Vipavska dolina). For groups it is open by reservation on other days as well. In two restaurant areas there are 82 seats and a bar counter; there are 100 seats at the tables in front of the thut; there is one room with 4 beds, 48 communal beds; toilets, a washing room with cold water; the restaurant and the sleeping areas are heated by   stoves, running water, electricity, telephone.  The view: There is a beautiful view from the nearby Pleša, where stands the RTV (transversal) tower. On the east side one can see the Postojna Basin (Postojnska kotlina) with   Postojna on the easternmost edge and Javorniki above it, then range the mountains and peaks from Krim to the Posavje Hills (Posavsko hribovje) with Kum, Gorjanci and Kočevski Rog; on the southeast side there are the extensive woods of Snežnik with Snežnik, and behind are Snježnik, Risnjak and other peaks of Gorski Kotar; on the south there is Razdrto close above Nanos where the Postojna Basin passes into the Vipava Valley, behind rises Vremščica, and on the left the hilly Brkini, on the right one can see across the  Karst to the Trieste Bay (Tržaški zaliv); on the west side is the karst plateau of   Nanos, and left below it is the Vipava Valley with Ajdovščina and Vipavski Križ, Trnovski gozd with Čaven on the north and the plateau of the  Trieste and Komen Karst (Tržaško-Komenski kras) with Trstelje  on the south side of the valley; on the north there are first the extensive woods of Hrušica, Nanos and Trnovski gozd, then the view reaches the Julian Alps with Triglav, the Karavanke and Kamnik Alps. Access: the local road which a little before Podnanos turns off from the main road Razdrto-Nova Gorica, to the parking place at the thut, 14km. The BS Razdrto, Podnanos: from Razdrto straight up along the demanding path 1h30; from Razdrto along the old path past the church of Sv. Hieronim  2h; from Podnanos past the church of  Sv. Hieronim  3h30. Interesting tours: Suhi vrh (1313 m) 1h30; Predjamski grad (503 m) along the TV (transversal) 3h.
