Their usual fare is tradicional Slovenian couisine but, four times a year, they make special presentations of international cuisine. In the Gorenjska region of Slovenia you must not miss the veal stew with excellent buckwheat mush, the tlacenka (pieces of meat and herb in gelatin) or the beef tongue with pumpkin oil. They bake their own bread witch can be spread with special cheese and sour cream. A delicious dish is the salami with porridge prepared in Gorenjska style. Recommended is the buttermilk soup. Meat dumplings with cheese sauce and loparnica. Meat lovers will surrender themselves to the venison prepared Pokljuka style and the young goat prepared Jezersko style. For desert is recomended buckwheat cake with apricots and apples in pastry baked with cranbarries.
