This church was once a quite popular pilgrimage site. Only the bell tower remains from its older Gothic predecessor, and the rest of the church with its richly decorated exterior and interior is in the Baroque style from 1729. The high quality Baroque furnishings inside are from the 18th century. The main Baroque altar is similar to the great altar in Šenčur. The Gothic statue of Mary with the Christ Child is from the middle of the 15th century. The ceiling frescoes from 1896 are the work of Matija Bradaška.
